We have attempted to install X11 revision 2 on a SUN 4/100 workstation. Subsequently, we found the README file in the server/ddx/sun directory that stated that only the bw2 driver is available but that a cg2 driver is being worked on. Since this file was dated February, 1988, it seems reasonable that a driver for the cg4 frame buffer might be available in the next release, or, if I'm really lucky, it might be available as a patch to revision 2. My question is this: is there currently a patch available that will enable me to use X11 with my SUN 4's, and if not, when will a new release containing these drivers be available.
