[comp.windows.x] X on CRTs

murthy@svax.cs.cornell.EDU (Chet Murthy) (05/24/88)

I know that I saw something a little while ago about X for CRT's,
but I don't remember what it was. Does anybody out there remember?

There are some companies (I know of one for sure -- rumors of another) that
build terminals that have an X server built in to them.

Whups! I meant to ask for info regarding X on ASCII character
terminals (like vt100's, etc)

Or any other window system for vt100's, etc, with the
network extensibility of X.

Does anybody remember the message?
