I am looking for a good desktop publishing package that runs under x. If you know of such a package or you sell one, please let me know. A public domain package is OK, however, a commercial package with support is highly desirable.

I believe that FrameMaker is busily porting it's software to X11R2 -- Don't you think that Mahitabel is a bit too toujour gay? - Archie ...{decwrl|ucbvax}!imagen!atari!daisy!turner (James M. Turner) Daisy Systems, 700 E. Middlefield Rd, P.O. Box 7006, Mountain View CA 94039-7006. (415)960-0123

We use a package called "Frame Maker" for document processing around here. It runs under X10 on Tek 43xx workstations. It is useful for such things as technical documentation, presentation slides, newsletters, and anything else requiring text and graphics neatly layed-out on the pages. You should contact your local Tektronix sales representative for more details. Versions for other workstation platforms may be available from the authors, you will have to ask them.
