Help ! I am trying to get the X11.2 server running on an HP 9000/ 350 SRX. As per the README file I have NOT used the -DSYSV in compiling the code. I also have turned optimization off, but still have the same problem. The symptoms of the problem is that the server apparently isn't setting the focus to the cursor with the window in it. I wrote a test program that requested all events and it looks like the server isn't even generating Enter/Leave WIndow events. Everyhting else seems to work fine though (colors, fonts, graphics, clipping of windows, etc.) One strange thing that may provide a clue, If I run uwm and move a window, then the moved window will get the focus (even if the cursor is not in that window). Oh, by the way, the cursor doesn't change as it moves from window to window either. We have X11.2 running on SUN 3/60's and 3/50's just fine. Has anyone else solved this problem ?
