Recent conversations and e-mail postings suggest that several people are interested in discussing X server support for window sharing before the next X conference. Thus we are organizing a discussion on this issue at Xhibition '88, which will be held 22-25 August at MIT. We request that anyone with experience or specific proposals in this area contact us soon. Possible topics for discussion include sharing window input and output, handling multiple displays, and supporting remote conferencing. The discussion could be based on feedback from formal presentations, round table conversations, or video tape presentations. The specific topics and format for the discussion will depend on your responses. Because we intend to give the Xhibition organizers this information the first week in August, we request prompt replies. Thank you.
