It turns out that cc under SunOs 4.0 knows about the #pragma directive, and makedepend doesn't. Ralph Swick and Guy Harris sent me patches to fix this. However, now that I've got X11R2 made, xterm won't run. I've applied the patch that handles the YP problem, but xterm dies when I try to start xinit (and then the server terminates). The problem is apparently somewhere in the routine spawn(); before I try to fix it, has anyone else had such a problem?
