I would like to get an estimate of how many QDSS displays out there are (or would like to be) running an X11 server, to try and make a case to someone for devoting effort to speeding up the implementation. But, as long as I'm asking, it would be interesting to know more generally what displays people are trying to use with X11. So, if you "own" one or more displays, please send a brief message to "xdisplays@expo.lcs.mit.edu" (please don't send it directly to me) stating what kinds of displays you are using, how many of each you have, what OS you are using, whether you are using MIT server sources, and what organization you belong to. After we allow time for the information to roll in, we'll summarize back to the net.
