I believe that some messages tend to go to much more than their share of newsgroups. I would prefer users to submit "pointers" to "second choice" newsgroups (e.g., "See net.wanted for ..."). Re: Adam's comment on the "References:" line: Some news front ends use that line to pair responses/followups with the original submission. Like Adam, I worry about the message ID numbers.
