Here's a strange one: uwm changed between releases in our operating system (Ultrix 2.0 to 2.2); the result is completely transparent, except that some client programs' menus cause the display to hang (to the point where even xclock can't update the screen, and mouse and keyboard input are ignored by all windows visible, not just the windows for the offending program.) 1) Any ideas what exactly is causing it? I didn't think such a thing could be done from within a program... 2) The fix is easy: to use the older version of uwm; how does this affect my use of the windows? Am I really losing anything by running the older version of uwm? --Blair
