R3 is currently scheduled for public distribution in early October. At this point I am not committing to what new things will be provided. If you desire to get something into the core distribution, like ddx layers or widgets, we need versions by August 1, so contact Jim Fulton, jim@expo.lcs.mit.edu, immediately. If you desire to get something into the user-contributed distribution, we need materials by September 1. Contact Jim Fulton to arrange the details. Do *not* assume that things placed in contrib/ on expo or at other public sites will automatically be included.

Yes, it was covered recently. I said I had said R3 was "Octoberish, this yearish", and that that was still trueish.
