I apologize if the following issue has already been discussed. I am new to this news group. I have been looking at the xmh program on a sun3/60 running 3.5 and X11 and find it to be broken in several ways: (1) The command buttons highlight in a somewhat grotesque manner. (2) Incorporte New Mail prepares new messages for reading properly, but doesn't display the headers (it doesn't display anything until you select View Next Message). (3) The front end to /usr/local/mh6 programs seems to have changed so that exec'd commands die from incorrect usage. The other germane detail is that the program worked until some toolkit pathces were applied around the middle of July. I have seen an article from Perdue about compiling the server with gcc that perhaps explains (1), and (3) I can fix myself. My question is if anyone has dealt with (2). I would be quite happy if someone has a working version of the xmh program (or the appropiately pathed library utilities ?? ) that I can ftp. thanks eliot morrison morrison@gvax.cornell.edu

Not to pick on Eliot, but it's PURDUE. We're not a poultry company run by Frank Perdue. Of course, Eliot may be reading netnews articles posted by chickens...no telling what kind of news setup they have at Kornell. :-)
