As promised, the X11 version of xphoon is now ready.
Xphoon sets the X root window to display a picture of the moon in
its current phase, including the partial lighting of the dark side
by reflected earthlight.
Xphoon can be FTPed from expo.lcs.mit.edu (18.30.0.212) as
contrib/xphoon.tar.Z. The file is 181374 bytes long. Remember to
use binary mode when you retrieve it. For those who can't FTP,
I will mail it off to the moderator of comp.sources.x as soon as I
hear from him about what is happening with X10 xphoon.
Since we don't use X11 here, there may well be bugs. Please let me
know about any problems you run into.
