[comp.windows.x] murdered clients

Suppose you want a client to do something intelligent when its been
murdered via "XKillClient". How do you detect that you have been
murdered? Is there some sort of Xlib support for this detection? or is
it completely operating system dependent?

KillClient is overkill, and impolite, and clients shouldn't have to cope
with it. Conventions for cleanly shutting down an application are being
worked on.
