Does anybody have a fix for the hung tty ports for Suns? It may occur with BSD systems, or may not. The problem has developed on both 3.x and 4.0. Only a reboot of the system regains full control (haven't tried the suggested fix below yet). Problem: X11 is terminated and there are still some windows up (as in exiting from the 'login' window of X11). Connection to the pty ports later will see 'no' response. Actually you can type in commands and use Cntl-J to send them to UNIX. There does not seem to be any stty command that will clear this up. According to Sun X11 needs to unset NDELAY on any active pty port when the window is killed in an abnormal exit (as described above). Has anyone hacked this 'exit cleanup' into X11 yet?
