Anybody out there know how I can get the source for CLX (an interface to X for lisp)? Thanks in advance for pointers. Also, is CLX vastly different from XCL? As I understand it the X guys at MIT came up with XCL. Where did CLX come from? - Wayne Smith Wayne Smith wasmith@ncrcae.Columbia.NCR.COM NCR Advanced Systems Development, Columbia, SC

In the standard MIT X11 distribution, in lib/CLX. Also, is CLX vastly different from XCL? Yes. As I understand it the X guys at MIT came up with XCL. Where did CLX come from? You have it backwards. The CLX design comes primarily from MIT (the bulk of the implementation was done by LaMott Oren at TI). XCL comes from David C. Martin at Berkeley, now dcmartin@cs.wisc.edu, I think; XCL is for X10.
