It's not quite appropriate to comment on a beta unit, but since someone has complained about these, I'll put in $.02. We've had two 640s for a while now, and we like them (a LOT). We have some minor complaints, but Visual and Xpi have been very responsive. We haven't tried to deal with any of the software supplied, mostly because we're a little busy right now, but also because the terminals worked right out of the box without it, talking just fine to all of our workstations running nearly R3.
