[comp.windows.x] X for IBM PCs and compatibles

I am looking for a public domain or commercial X windows package for
an IBM PC AT or compatible.  Does anyone have recommendations?  
Ideally X windows applications developed on a SUN should be portable
to the PC after minor twiddling.
