The host giza.cis.ohio-state.edu has x11r3 sources available. The one difference is that, in keeping with our long-standing habits for redistribution, we have re-cut the distribution into 200Kb chunks rather than the original .5Mbyte chunks. Anon FTP access is obvious for those with access to it; anon UUCP access is gained by the following L.sys or Systems lines (1200/2400bps): giza Any ACU 2400 1-614-292-3124 "" \r\c ame? cis GO "" GO \r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r annex: rlogin\sgiza\s-l\sUanon word: Uanon giza Any ACU 1200 1-614-292-3112 "" \r\c ame? cis GO "" GO \r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r\r annex: rlogin\sgiza\s-l\sUanon word: Uanon Sorry, no TB modems yet. Tell it to the provost and the dean. As seen from FTP, the files are in /pub/X.V11R3. As seen from UUCP, the files are in /giza0/ftp/pub/X.V11R3. Files to be obtained are: README RELNOTES.PS README.dist contrib-1.src/uc1.tar.Z-part-[aa thru ca] contrib-2.src/uc2.tar.Z-part-[aa thru cw] core.src/core.tar.Z-part-[aa thru cg] Have a blast, --Karl

We'll try to keep them up-to-date whenever we add things. They would also tell you about /giza0/ftp/pub/X.V11R3/contrib-1.src/CHECKSUMS /giza0/ftp/pub/X.V11R3/contrib-2.src/CHECKSUMS /giza0/ftp/pub/X.V11R3/core.src/CHECKSUMS which will help you verify your file transfers, whether you're using FTP or UUCP. -=- Zippy sez, --Bob . I don't understand the HUMOUR of the THREE STOOGES!!
