[comp.windows.x] cut and paste

Is there any way to cut and paste text from one window and
"stuff" it as keyboard input to another window?  I have just started
using XR11V2 after becoming quite used  to suntools... thanks
for any help...

Xterm supports this with shift-left Mouse, and shift-middle mouse.  
It is also supported by Hpterm (should you be so lucky) with the same
actions as default, but is redefinable.  Both of these use the server
cut buffer.
