I never heard of ptroff except in IBM ACIS.  I, therefore, suspect
you have at RT?  If so You need an IBM printer for which it was designed
or should port ditroff and use it with your existing printer.

ptroff is "PostScript troff" and comes with Adobe Systems'
TransScript system.  It allows you to general PostScript output that
may be printed on any PostScript printer...
