I recall that DEC is in charge of an image processing protocol
extension. What's the status of this? Are there draft documents that
describe such an extension?
A draft document from Digital was circulated within the X Consortium
for preliminary review. At the present time, there appear to be
insufficient resources among the member organizations to undertake
a formal review at this time. It will now be up to the folks at
Digital as to whether they are willing to give the document wider
circulation. If you are truly interested, I can give you a contact
at Digital to try and pursue the matter.
