The file Xhp.r3fix.sh.Z is available on expo.lcs.mit.edu (18.30.0.212) for anonymous ftp in the contrib directory. It's size is 3947 bytes, and the checksum is 45978 4 (Remember to get it in binary mode). Uncompress, unshar, read teh CHANGES file and run the shell script update.sh. For those without ftp access, it should be making its way to comp.sources.x right now. These are a few small changes to the Makefiles/Imakefile for the R2 Xt Intrinsics and Xw (HP widgets) distributed on the R3 contrib tape in the widgets/Xhp subdirectory. With these, the two libraries compile and can be used by applications that are careful about including these includes before the standard R3 includes. The real fix is to port the HP widgets to R3 - I'm sure HP is doing that. (and after porting two widgets to R3, I'm fairly sure it'll take them a while to get an R3 widget set out!). Till that happens, hopefully these will suffice. The patches to xpic for R3 (which I'll hopefully get out a bit later tonight) will require these fixes. (a compiled libXw.a and libXt.a, really)
