Sorry for cluttering the net, but is there a good intro book on widgets and such in X11? Even a simple step by step: "here's a simple program and how it works; here's a more complex one, etc." would be most helpful. Thanks, -Sean- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Sean Philip Engelson, Gradual Student Yale Department of Computer Science 51 Prospect St. New Haven, CT 06520 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The frame problem and the problem of formalizing our intuiutions about inductive relevance are, in every important respect, the same thing. It is just as well, perhaps, that people working on the frame problem in AI are unaware that this is so. One imagines the expression of horror that flickers across their CRT-illuminated faces as the awful facts sink in. What could they do but "down-tool" and become philosophers? One feels for them. Thanks, -Sean- ---------- HP put together a manual on using and programming the HP Widgets. The nroffed bits were given back to MIT and should have been included on the R3 tape. In our tree they are under clients/pub1/doc. You can also order the real manual from HP (HP Part Number 5959-6155) which also includes the toolkit manual from MIT (Both manuals in one binder).
