Instead of being sent all the news and then going through it typing 'n', how about a variation of the 'ihave/sendme' mechanism which gives titles of all news items. Users could review this, and a request to copy the relevant file from the remote machine could be made if required, and sometime later the news item would appear for reading. This would ease the anxiety of people about spending hours on the phone (like us at 300 baud) getting 750 entries in /usr/spool/uucp like we did last night, many of little interest, and clogging up mail etc. Just a suggestion.........
