Using the X-Toolkit, how would an application know if the toplevel widget has been iconified and de-iconified? I am using X11R2 (really the AT&T XWIN 1.0 server). Thanks, Floyd -- Floyd Goldstein AT&T Bell Laboratories att!homxc!fmg (or) homxc!fmg@att.com arpa!homxc!fmg (or) homxc!fmg@att.arpa

Using the X-Toolkit, how would an application know if the toplevel widget has been iconified and de-iconified? This is another area where agreed-upon conventions between clients and window managers is required. This issue is addressed by the ICCCM document produced within the X Consortium. I expect to be able to release this document for public review in January.
