[comp.windows.x] X-windows and Amdahl UTS

rgr@m10ux.UUCP (Duke Robillard) (12/22/88)

I recently got X11R3 running on our Suns here, and now
I want to put Xlib on our mainframes (which are Amdahls
running UTS. UTS is nearly identical to System V.2)
so that I can run huge jobs that write to my sun's screen.
I tried the obvious stuff and found include files that
are only BSD-ish. Here're my questions:

1) Has anyone moved Xlib to UTS? If so, can you tell
   me how?

2) Does anyone who has moved Xlib to any System V
   machine have any useful advice?

Please send me mail--our newsfeed has been flakey
lately, and I'm likely to miss any postings. I'll
be happy to summerize.

Thanks.

think this got out. Sorry if you're seeing this for the 2nd time.)
