What bothers me more than multiple posting of the same article by the same person (a subject which has come up in net.misc and (Grrr!!) net.general) is multiple posting of the same article by different people. Why does everyone think that s/he is the only one among us thousands of net readers who caught Chris Cross's latest spelling mistake/leap of illogic/ ethnic slur...and that s/he is the appointed Guardian of the rest of us? Please, if you see a news item which seems to you to beg immediate response, check the return path. If there are several machines listed there, at least *consider* the possibility that someone on at least *one* of those machines has at least half the brains you do.
