[comp.windows.x] X for the PC's

Hello all,
Being new to the world of X, I was wondering if there are any
XLib implementations available in the public domain for the PC/AT
with an EGA card. I'm currently enrolled in an experimental Ada
class here at VU and we are working on a fairly large simulation
project. We'd like it to be as portable as possible and X-Windows
seems like the choice system to use for our windowing needs. We
are using PC's to develop the software, but will be porting it to
different platforms as soon as we get those installed. The January
issue of BYTE had an article on X that mentioned that PC's had been
used as X-terminals which I believe is all we need for this package.
Oh, of course the bindings will have to be in Ada, but that shouldn't
be a problem from what I've heard... Right? Thanks for any help you
can give.
