Last night I found a strain of bugs in the R3 versions of the Xw widgets. Where the application of my dreams (nightmares) used to core-dump, it doesn't. I can't be sure that your application won't dump core anymore, but mine runs fine now. I will compile all of the little test programs that dump core so frequently, and fix the rest of the core dumps. Look here for the posting of the working fixes, mine. oh, and uh... be sure to have vanilla R3 Xw stuff ready, because I will baseline my patches to the unpatched sources. Martin
