We do have a limited number of T-shirts left from the January Conference. The T-shirts are free with membership, which is $25.00, or $15.00 otherwise. We have one size left, XL, in white, light blue, and teal (darker blue to those of us who think teal is a type of duck). Memberships include an XNextEvent subscription. Registrations and T-Shirt orders should be sent to: XUG c/o Integrated Computer Solutions 163 Harvard Street Cambridge, MA 02139 Checks should be payable to the X User's Group. Further info on XUG can be obtained from xug@expo.lcs.mit.edu, by calling 617/547-0634, or writing to the above address. -Aub Harden

I joined XUG when it was first created, and ordered a T shirt. When the membership package arrived (including issue 1 of XNextEvent), there was a little note to the effect of: "out of T-shirts, will send one along later." Though ICS cashed by check, I never did get a T-shirt. More than a year has passed. I suggest that anyone else thinking of joining XUG keep this story in mind. -- Paul Vixie Work: vixie@decwrl.dec.com decwrl!vixie +1 415 853 6600 Play: paul@vixie.sf.ca.us vixie!paul +1 415 864 7013

in article <8902170002.AA03798@buita.bu.edu>, harden@ics.COM says: > The T-shirts are free with membership, which is $25.00, ^^^^^What? when I was at the X conference, I somehow got the impression that a membership the the XUG was $100 (to which I said Harumph!), but bought the t-shirt for my fifteen. Have the membership fees changed since then? ...m (I'd have paid ten bucks extra for the Newsletter) young --- ingr!myoung!myoung@uunet.uu.net | mark allan young | where {uunet,ihnp4}!ingr!myoung!myoung | intergraph corp, cr1105 | do I | one madison industrial pk | put the "Ask me about our Intergraph | huntsville, al 35807 | usual CLIPPER-based Workstations." | (205) 772-6094 | disclaimer
