We've recently started using Andrew and have been generally pleased with it. However, not everyone likes tiled window managers (myself included, although cwm does have some nice features.) I've been using awm instead and haven't had any noticeable problems, except that a lot of the fancy things Andrew does with the cwm titlestripe aren't available under awm. I'm just wondering whether twm (or something else) would buy me anything I don't already have with awm? Has anyone tried running Andrew with both awm and twm? If so, which of these overlapping window managers seems the most compatible with Andrew and cwm? Are there other overlapping window managers which might be a better choice than either of these? I'd be interested in any comments people might have regarding the choice of window managers for Andrew.
