[comp.windows.x] xmh and X Toolkit question

earle@SUN.COM (Greg Earle) (02/23/89)

From some place, I grabbed some resources for `xmh' that specify what bitmap
files to use for the Buttons in each different region (folderButtons,
tocButtons, viewButtons, compButtons), e.g.

	Xmh*compButtons.send.bitmap: forward.i

all of which use the bitmaps stored in clients/xmh/icons.
(I also have

	Xmh*BitmapFilePath:	/usr/src/local/X.V11R3/clients/xmh/icons

in .Xresources)

When I try to use them, however, I get

X Toolkit Warning: No type converter registered for 'String'
	to 'Pixmap' conversion.

Is this an `xmh' problem (it didn't register a converter), a Toolkit problem
(no such converter exists by default), or a Mea Culpa problem (I built both
`xmh' and lib/Xt with gcc)?

Thanks,
