I sent a message to net.unix-wizards. I am getting it back multiple times with ARPA addresses appended and the complaint "Unable to deliver mail to:" <whoever is on the address>. What am I supposed to do with them? Throw them away? resend them to their ARPA address? mail them to a friend at sri-unix and say its your problem, pal? Laura Creighton utzoo!utcsstat!laura

I've gotten messages back from unix-wizards as well. I presume that these are caused by flaky Arpanet/CSnet mailers, or by logins being removed from machines before they are deleted from the mailing list. Unfortunately I don't know who handles unix-wizards on the arpanet side (sri-unix is just the gateway to USENET), and as for resending mail to Arpanet addresses, the probability of success is practically nil.
