nobody@tekecs.GWD.TEK.COM (-for inetd server command) (02/28/89)
I am new to the X Window System and am looking for good sources of
information regarding it.
In particular, I am looking for books, magazines, weeklies,
ftp-able files, or any other form of X literature that you consider
worthy, especially literature that is current. A brief description
of each item, i.e. "An in-depth user's guide for uwm" or "A well-
written programmer's reference guide" would also be appreciated.
For all suggestions, please also include a way to obtain
that item: i.e. for books, a full bibliographic entry (with ISBN #),
and for magazines, the address/phone number of the publisher, etc.,
if at all possible. How *you personally* obtained the item would also
be a welcome addition.
Please respond via e-mail. A giant "X literature database" could
be created by all the responses :^) ; if there's enough interest, I'm
perfectly willing to post it to the net.
Thanks,
Doug
