[comp.windows.x] X11R3: diagonal line drawing on RT apa16

Greetings...

    We have a number of RTs here running the December '88 release of AOS and
R3 of X11.  Some of the machines have apa16 diaplays and some have aed (aka
viking) displays on them.  When running the NYSERNet snmpxmon program (built
against R3 libraries), it cannot draw solid lines that are not horizontal or
vertical on an apa16.  It seems to work just fine on the aed.  The code uses
XDrawLine calls, and all of this worked under R2 (server and client).  Has
anybody else seen this type of behaviour?  The apa16 uses the mfb code, while
the aed seems not to (I haven't looked deeply into the code of either).
