wm reparents windows and it get sit right!. You may notice that the initial
uwm flashing rectangle that indicates the size of the likely window is wrong.
In fact an awful lot of X applications don't seem to bother calculating the
size of their window before they open it. (e.g. bitmap, xfd etc.).

The fix has to be to fix xterm. I looked at it for a while but at that time
(r2) it was like trying to take one piece of spaghetti out of a plateful and
thread it back without disturbing the rest. I gave up because I didn't have
time. I'd hoped it would be fixed in r3.
