Well, I got many "me-too" messages in my mailbox, and also got a message from someone at Solbourne. The news is that Xdbtool is Solbourne's, and I don't believe the source code is available (although I haven't asked them yet). So probably the only way you can get Xdbtool is to buy a Solbourne (they're really pretty nice machines, BTW. We have a dual-processor Solbourne here that hasn't really given me any trouble at all). Sorry to disappoint those who asked me where they could get the source-code. Maybe someone will write a publicly available xdbtool sometime... ---- Dave Hiebeler Internet: hiebeler@cs.rpi.edu (preferred address) Computer Science Dept. hiebeler@itsgw.rpi.edu Amos Eaton Bldg. I have written an xdbxtool, which just uses a pipe to the standard dbx. I don't guarantee it to be bulletproof, but I can make it available if there is any interest.

John; I'm interested. Could you send me a copy? Thanks Zheng (Sorry for sending to the list. Our system does not have a entry for cray.com)
