Hi.
Could one of you xperts help me here?
I have written a widget - based on the Athena template - which forks
and talks to its child via two pipes. All the correct streams are
closed as appropriate. (I think)
When the widget tries to kill itself - before or after the child dies -
using XtDestroyApplicationContext I get this error message:-
XIO: fatal IO error 9 (Bad file number) on X server "fiji:0.0"
after 32 requests (32 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
What's happening? What does it mean? Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Duncan.
