Hello, I'm trying to compile XTrek under X11R3. I'm running on a monochrome Sun 3/60. Xtrek wants its own '.snf' type of font, and in the code it appears to add a new directory to the font directory list which has the font xtrek.snf in it. For some reason this doesn't work, and it can never find the font, even after adding it to the "font path" or whatever. On a related note, I can't get xfd to display with xfd -n ./xtrek.snf from the directory containing the font. Same goes for xterm -fn ./xtrek.snf I'm just an Xnovice...what do you think the problem is? It looks like X will only use the fonts in the default directory no matter what. Do I have to do anything to an .Xresources file? (that I xrdb?) Thanks alot, Matt Kennel mbkennel@phoenix.princeton.edu
