I've tried using the verson of cpicker that recently appeared on expo but it fails with: Can't allocate 64 cells for palette. Pixedit gets a further but, once again, the scroll bars slide up and down but the associated value changes randomly (the compiler on this machine widens float parameters to double and the internal representation doesn't allow you to just chop). The layout of pixedit seems snafu'd in some way as well. Most of the command buttons do not appear and the pallette of colours is not a grid, the bottom few rows are skipped to the left by a couple of pixels. Help! This is under X.V11R3 on a 4.2 BSD Clipper-based Orion. I was using awm as my window manager. The orion screen is 94 dpi, has anyone fixed up xfig so that it interrogates X to work out the resolution rather than having it built in?
