Bug? environment: X11R3 server patched thru 8 with purdue & purdue plus patches compiled with gcc. SUN3 running 3.5 on a SUN 3/60. Using Xdrawlines and with an array containing approximately 5000 points, when drawing to a window on the color screen (:0.1) the server crashes after drawing approximately 860 lines. The same application outputting to a window on the monochrome display (:0.0) works fine. The same application drawing to a color window on an RT (megapel display :0.1) works fine. Changing the application to dump the co-ordinates with Xdrawlines in bursts of 300 (probably could be higher) all works fine on the SUN 3/60 :0.1. Is this a problem with the SUN color server? It is repeatable. The data is X-Y where X is linear and Y is random noise between -1 and 1. They are being scaled into a 'graphics' window. The line width is '0'.
