Greetings. I have been asked by a soon-to-appear national computer
magazine (to be oriented toward the Unix community) to write a
feature article regarding Usenet. I feel that such an article would
be useful, but I am a bit concerned about any potential problems
that such a piece might cause some sites. I hereby solicit (by
direct mail) your opinions about what should and should not be
included in such an article in terms of discussions of distribution
mechanisms, newsgroups, policy (ha ha!), etc.
If I don't write this article, someone else probably will, who might
well have somewhat less concern about the ramifications for the net
itself, so I've decided that I should probably agree to write the
piece. Please send me your opinions by mail. Thanks.
