I have X11R3 installed on both a Vax workstation and a Sun workstation. The following uses Xtoolkit widgets to create a popup menu : XtCreatePopupShell("popup_menu", overrideShellWidgetClass, ...) This works fine on both workstations if it's compiled on the Vax workstation. However, if the demo is compiled on the Sun, the demo doesn't work on either workstation. The menu is not popped up when the button is pressed. Are there any known bugs in the Sun X server which might cause this, and if so, does anyone have a fix for this ? Your help will be very much appreciated! Thank you! Shuhua Shen

This Xt function works fine for me (Sun 386i, SunOS 4.0.1, X11R3). I
use it for popup menus as well as popup dialog boxes, etc.
