Greetings, The company I work for just entered the UNIX workstation area in the pass 4 months and is interested in the X 11 Window programming. The programming staff has little to no programming background in X windows. So, we are looking for a list of INTRODUCTORY books about programming in X window. If you have come across a good X window book please forward the name and author of the book to me. Thanks in advance, Steve Driver MSE Corporation ----------------------------------------------------------------- Steven W. X Window System. C library and Protocol reference, by Robert W.Scheifler, James Gettys and Ron Newman, Digital Press. Cost ~ $55. No programming examples and cannot be used as a step by step guide to X11 programming, but once you are through the first few stumbling blocks this is a great reference. -- pratap. pratap%hpcllcm@hplabs.hp.com.
