Ok, I'm getting tired of this. Scenario: Machine: Vaxstation II OS: Ultrix 3.0 X.V: X11R3 When logging in (we use /etc/ttys to start up xterm and X), I have to hit return twice after typing in the password. Until I do an "xset c off" I have to hit return twice EVERY OTHER TIME. After doing the xset command everything is fine. When any output goes to /dev/console, keyclick is turned on again and I have to hit return twice again for every return I want. Linefeed (^J) is not affected. This is the same symptom after unplugging and plugging in the keyboard (device disconnect), but of course I'm not touching the connections. We don't have the same problem on our 4-plane color Vaxstation 2000s (qdss) running the same Ultrix 3.0. Any help out there? Thanks in advance. _____________________________________ Brian V.
