(Apologies if this is the wrong group). Do header files exist complete with function prototypes for ANSI C? If not, are they planned for a future release. C++ is (alas) not quite enough. I cribbed the ones from InterViews, but they've too much C++ stuff, and are incomplete, I think. I added prototypes to our copy of most of the include files - Xlib is the difficult one. Are the X-COnstortium aware of the inconstistencies in naming and types in this file? All actually harmless, I think. Also, there's too many uses before definitions for this to be easy. So this isn't totally scrounging ... If these files don't exist, I'm offering to change the files to work with Ansi & non-Ansi C (and possibly C++). I'd like to do this for the files that will be R4, but R3 would be a step forward. Anyone at the consortuim interested? I might need an X-purt to resolve the inconsistencies.
