What is the collective experience using dump/undump/print? I have been trying to dump windows to an ln03 printer with no success. Well, yes, I get a black rectangle on the ln03 or a purple one on the vt340, etc. but I never manage to see the image on the screen. Even black and white (xclock) images fail to reproduce. My question is, has anyone been successful here. Are my problems with the clients, the servers, colormaps or what? For one thing, I see that using the MIT sample Xapollo, xwd | xwud does not reproduce a window although it does work on the beta Xserver from apollo. Should the following produce the window image on the printer? xwd -xy | xpr -dev ln03 | lpr -Plp1 All comments welcomed -- ken.
