[comp.windows.x] xwps: X Window to PostScript dumper update

bchen@esvax.berkeley.edu (Benjamin Chen) (04/27/89)

I've updated xwps to include the BoundingBox statement in PostScript
so that stuff like LaTex can print out the PostScript files generated by
xwps. This has been incredibly useful around here for generating
illustrations for papers without cutting and pasting.
Previously, the program was advertised to ring the bell twice after
completing the scan of the frame buffer so you can close or hide the
window while the program is writing the file. It did not, however,
but now it does (if that makes any sense.) For those of you waiting
for the X11 version, hang on a little more.
