Is there any sort of index to the X11R3 patches so that if you have a problem with XSomethingOrOther on a MysteriousArchitecture you can see if there are fixes pertaining to that routine/architecture? Not really, not for patches from MIT. You can ask for "index fixes" from the xstuff mail daemon, but you won't get any real detail from it. The truth is that we tend not to put out that many official patches between releases, for various reasons. We expect you'll just apply them all, and see if the problem goes away. :-) (Of course, Consortium members have more information available to them.)
