Hello,
I've managed to port over a good portion of the X software to an Encore
Multimax as a host system, and I am currently testing out a Visual 640 XDS
Terminal. I have set up xdm to prompt the user for authentication, and all
seems to work well. However, if the XDS is turned off and then turned back
on, xdm does not give the login window again, unless SIGHUPs are sent to
the appropriate xdm processes. The xdm-error file shows that the XDS was
shut down, and no error messages appear from then on.
Has anyone been able to get xdm to respond after shutting down the
terminal?
